"Easily one of the best club nights in the capital now!" - Bizarre Magazine

"Subversive & slickly packaged this is a new school of weird, & i can’t wait for the next one! Lucha Britannia is & destined to be HUGE!!!" - Alternative London Magazine

“2008 saw Bizarre hold it’s first ever event, in the form of a Ball. Over 2,000 people turned up and over 25 acts performed on the night. This took a tremendous amount of organising in order to ensure the night ran smoothly, all the guests were entertained and a large slice of the Bizarre brand was delivered. Nicky took all the pressure and workload away from us. She was our guide as well as our inspiration and worked so closely and in unison with my internal marketing team and editorial team it was as if she had always worked for us . Every act was completely briefed and looked after. All 2,000 guests were able to experience Bizarre and have a great night. On top of delivering the event for us, Nicky managed to help us change venue (due to the other one being closed down by the police) with just 48 hours notice and not one complaint from an act or guest, this was beyond the call of duty.

We will be working again with Nicky in 2009 and thanks to her we are able to do an even bigger & better event this year.”

Within the brief "Brideshead Revamped", I created the theming in the "library" for "Mask's" Christmas party season 2008 held at the Truman Brewery, East london. Brightly painted chesterfield sofas, rich coloured standard lamps, an oversized fireplace and huge "punked up" historical portraits completed this twist on a traditional room to make a fun reception space.

I supplied the background and designed & decorated the table decor for this Art Deco "Heavens Above" theme in a marquee structure on the lawns of Imperial College, London for "Mask's" Christmas party season 2007.
The theming I helped create for event company "Mask" for their "Belle Epoque" themed Christmas 2006 run at Old Billingsgate, London, made the front page and a double spread in this highly valued event publication.
