Nicky Rapley is a professional costume designer and events producer, with 15 years experience in feature films, commercials and television, following on from her award-winning career running her own haute couture fashion design and manufacturing company.

As a costume designer, she has worked with household names like Nike and Pepsi on various commercial campaigns involving Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and The Spice Girls. Furthermore, she has worked on movies such as the Oscar-winning Saving Private Ryan, the cult classic Preaching To The Perverted, critically-acclaimed and evocative fantasy The Fall and the controversial Spanish film Teresa: El Cuerpo De Cristo (The Body of Christ). On these last two films she was assistant costume designer to Oscar-winning Eiko Ishioka.

Nicky Rapley is also the co-creator and producer of the award-winning wrestling and adult cabaret show Lucha Britannia, who, in tandem with Bizarre Magazine, co-created and produced the inaugural Bizarre Ball, one of the largest alternative events ever produced in the UK. She has also been responsible for creating the interior design and theming on behalf of Mask for their large corporate events at the Truman Gallery and Imperial College in London, as well as producing shows involved with the Carbon Black Super Car Rally in 2006.

Nicky is sought after for her ability to create both realistic period images and strong stylised looks. As well as being highly organised, she has a reputation for adaptability and invention, is able to find creative solutions within tight deadlines and tighter budgets. She marries artistic flair and an innovative streak with a real passion for design and research.
